How to choose steak for your table in China
Start with the meal, not the highest number. Choose a cut for the way you plan to cook, compare the actual product and label, then confirm portions and the full delivered price.

1. Tell us what the evening looks like.
Dinner for two, a family meal and a gathering need different conversations. Let us know the number of adults and children, whether steak is the main dish, and whether you are cooking with a pan, grill or a longer-cook recipe.
- For two: compare two suitable cuts before choosing a larger assortment.
- For family: describe preferences and portions; a higher marbling number is not a family requirement.
- For guests: confirm cutting style and your cooking setup before choosing a sharing selection.
2. Compare the product, not just the category.
Our archive shows striploin with a natural outer fat cap, ribeye with its characteristic muscle structure, and tenderloin with a compact cut surface. Open the full photographs and read the individual notes. “Wagyu” or “Angus” on its own does not tell you the exact cut, portion or current-batch condition.
3. Ask for a quote you can actually compare.
Compare the same cut, stated grade, usable weight and delivery terms. Ask which photos belong to the current offer. An archive image is a useful starting point, not proof of today’s stock.
- Confirm portion weight, thickness, trimming and minimum order.
- Confirm chilled or frozen state, storage instructions and the batch label.
- Confirm packaging, delivery costs, payment options and any applicable after-sales terms.
Make the next step personal.
Bring your city, occasion and preferences. Ask for a shortlist and clarify the practical details before deciding.
